Claude proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the early years of the Vietnam War. He dedicated many years of hard work to his career. He retired from American Standard and later from Amatrol.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years Ramah Bentley; children Jeff Bentley, Theresa Collins (Ron), and Peyton Bentley (Darci); Grandchildren, Alisha Bentley, Bradley Bentley, Audrey Bentley, Courtney Collins & Christopher Collins; and several nieces and nephews.
Claude is preceded in death by his parents, BF & Tishie Bentley; brothers, Jack, Lloyd, Lester, Elbert, Hillard, & Larry; sisters, Audrey, Novella, Irene, & Ramona.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Claude’s memory to St. Croix Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association.
Vitiation will be Saturday, February 28th from 10:00 am -1:00pm at Kraft Funeral Home (2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, IN 47150). The funeral will follow at 1:00pm in the funeral home chapel. Burial will take place in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
