Cleon “Don” Basham, 63 years of age passed away on December 31, 2019 at his residence in New Albany. He was born on May 21, 1956 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Oscar Leo and Bertha Basham. Don retired from Louisville Gas and Electric and was member of the Pine Ridge Bow Hunters and Floyd County Coons Hunters Clubs
Survivors include his companion, Kathy Basham; children, Erin Moore, Kevin Basham, Crysty Nurse; step-children, Michelle Heintz, Mark Coogle; brothers, Millard Basham, David Basham, Tony Basham; sister, Bea Thompson; 14 grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday and 8:00 am until 11:00 am Tuesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His funeral service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday at the funeral home chapel with cremation to follow.
