Corine Richmer, 91 years of age, passed away on October 20,2026 at Bridgepointe Gardens in Jeffersonville. She and Bob raised 5 daughters over their 36 year marriage. Corine had been widowed for 33 years. After Bob passed away she loved traveling to visit her girls and their families, as well as many trips with the YMCA and Clarksville Parks Department. She was a good cook and enjoyed nothing more than cooking for her family. She was a member of Mt Tabor Presbyterian Church and helped cook and serve a weekly meal to the community. She was blessed with 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Richmer; parents, Amzel & Russell Walts; brothers, Ron Walts and Phil Walts.
She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Willis(Tom), Debbie Peyton (Scott), Patti Boggess(Andy), Barbara Settles(Larry) and Sandy Westerfield(Randy); grandchildren Dustin Willis (Stacy), Daron Willis (Ashley), Katie Martz (Will), Lauren Toler (Paul), Sarah Taylor (Ryan), Drew Boggess, Logan Boggess, Paige Settles (Andrew Monagle), Macy Mullins (Tyler).
Corine’s girls would like to give special thanks to St. Croix Hospice and Bridgepointe Gardens for the loving care they provided their mom.
Visitation will be held at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana 47150, on November 2, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm, followed by a Celebration of Life at 2:00 pm at the same location.
Final resting will be at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany.
