What a blessing to have known Dan and worked with him in ministry! He was a man of God and gave unselfishly in outreach ministry! He and my late husband, Dean, were a great team and really enjoyed working together! Now they are together again praising the Lord!

Was shocked and sad to hear of Dan's passing. We have lost a great neighbor and friend. We
know he was a great man of God and is in a better place. We know he suffered for many years but didn't give up and never let it get him down. Our sympathy to Elaine and family. Love to you all.

Mary Ellen and I want to express our sympathy and deepest gratitude for the ministry of Dan Jenkins. He was an outstanding laymen that took ownership of the multi- housing ministry of Graceland Baptist that included the housing projects, the senior citizens high rises and nursing homes in southern Indiana.
Well done Dan. God used you to minister to "the least of these". You are being welcomed by many who are thanking you for giving to the Lord.

Dan will be missed, but really and truly deserved his wings. He was a caring person and ran the nursing home ministry a lot of years. Upon his retirement, things were never the same in this ministry. He checked on his volunteers each week and would fill in if needed. If not needed, he would visit the various nursing home services each week. The world would be a better place if more volunteers/leaders/staff was as caring as he and his wife. Even the last few years when he was having health problems, I never heard him complain.
