David M. Elwanger, 57 years of age died Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at his home in Clarksville, Indiana. He was born October 2, 1963 in New Albany, Indiana. David was a veteran of the United States Army and a supervisor with Vivid Impact in Jeffersontown, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Emily Elwanger; son, D.J. Elwanger; and mother, Anita Elwanger.
He is survived by his daughter, Hillary and Jake Goodman; father, Donald and Peggy Elwanger; sisters, Donna Kruer, Kim and Mike Miller; grandson, Liam Goodman; nieces and nephews, Angie and Archie Sims, Joey Banet, Christopher Miller; great nephews, CJ Miller, Austin Sims; great niece, Haley Sims.
Visitation will be 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His funeral service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday at the funeral home chapel with burial and military honors to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
