David Edward Stewart

DAVID EDWARD STEWART, 67, passed peacefully at home on Wednesday, December 11, 2013. The son of the late Richard A. and Mildred (Goodman) Stewart, David was born April 11, 1946 in New Albany. He was a graduate of Providence High School and retired from Boland-Maloney Lumber. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and the Mens Club at Providence High School. David had a great sense of humor and also enjoyed gardening, cooking, collecting, making wine and camping. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard J. Stewart.

Survivors include his sister and brother-in-law, Ruth S. and Frank Payne; sister-in-law, Carolyn Stewart; nieces and nephews, Teri Blackman, Rick Stewart and Clint and Denny Payne; 9 great nieces and nephews; and a multitude of friends.

Memorial Visitation will be 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm Sunday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana and after 10:30 am Monday at Holy Family Catholic Church. His Funeral Mass will be 11:30 am Monday at the church with burial to follow in Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery.
