

Debbie was always on the move and lived in numerous states during her life including, Arizona, Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, and Florida. Debbie was an avid sports fan and was really a daddy's girl for her father's favorite team, University of Louisville Football, and attended many games with her family. Being a dedicated traveler, she experienced many adventures, especially loving Hawaii (three times), Disney World (four times), and cruising the Caribbean (seven times).
Debbie's nursing career was inspiring, she was a Registered Nurse for over 34 years, earning her associates degree from College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, IL in 1988, her bachelor's degree from Indiana University in 1996, and her master's degree in Health Care Administration from Webster University in 2010.
Her work experience was varied and broad, spending 10 years in Emergency Nursing, working at several Level 1 Trauma Centers, including Cook County Hospital, Mount Sinai, and Alexian Brothers Hospitals in Chicago as well as Clark and Floyd Memorial Hospitals in southern Indiana The latter part of Debbie's career was in case management culminating when she took the position of Director of Case Management at the Cleveland Clinic in Weston, Florida, a position for which she was very proud.
Debbie love for her only son, Alexander, was unwavering, her love for family was unmatched, and her love and loyalty to her friends was unquestioned.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael Wagner and Darlene (Esteves) Wagner.
She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Michael, son Alexander, sister Nicole Robison (Jason), niece Emily Robison, nephews Ryan and Jaden Robison, cousins Gloria Helwig, Jody McCartin, and Janice McCartin, and numerous extended family and friends.
A visitation for Deborah will be held Wednesday, July 30, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana 47150. A funeral service will occur Thursday, July 31, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Kraft Funeral Service.
Deborah will be laid to rest in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana 47150.
Donations in Debbie's honor are requested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
