

Delpha Sue Camm, 91, of New Albany, Indiana passed away May 19, 2026, at The Villages of Historic Silvercrest. She was born in Junction City, Kentucky on February 4, 1935, to the late Amos and Daisy Belcher Lockhart.
Family and faith were an important part of Sue’s life. Her love of family was especially evident in the joy she found in her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchild. Her faith was an enduring part of her life and offered the foundation of strength that carried her through the most difficult times.
Those who loved Sue will remember her as a warm-hearted and sophisticated woman, with an attentive eye for beauty in all aspects of life. Her passion for interior design was not only reflected in her home but also in the homes of many who sought her artistic advice.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Donald I. Camm; a son, Donnie (Donald) W. Camm; daughter-in-law, Kimberly Camm; grandchildren, Bradley Camm, Jill Camm and Angel Rose and two siblings, Carlin Lockhart and Samuel Lockhart.
Sue is survived by a daughter, Julie Blankenbaker (Ralph); two sons, David Camm and Dan Camm (Gabi); six grandchildren, Nicole, Whitney, Benjamin, Emily, Cara and Lauren; thirteen great-grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; siblings, Rev. Leland Lockhart, Nelson Lockhart, Gloria Suttle, Phyllis Rhodes, Kathy Lockhart and Debbie TerVree and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am till 1:00 pm on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 East Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.
The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation for the love and care provided by Sue's extended family of caregivers at Silvercrest.
