It is with great sadness that I add my expression of love for the loss of my very compassionate friend. What a joy I felt as I played and sang with her. She went out of her way to uplift me and to support everyone around her. I remember she even came to visit me in the hospital when I suffered an ulcer and staph infection. Surely the Paradise of God is rejoicing over the homecoming of such a loving and giving person. May we who remain take strength from the example she set for us. She was such a blessing and much loved.

I didn"t know Denise well. In fact was very fortunate to have met her the one time she came with Randy and friends to Friday night dulcimer class with Jim Fox. Music was played and stories told. I would say the world has lost one of it's best and sweetest and heaven has gained one. I know she will be missed. My heart goes out to her family, friends and Randy. It is always hardest on those left behind. Sherie Good

Unfortunately it's been a long time since I've gotten to see or speak to Denise. I am so sorry for all the pain and suffering she had to endure. I had the pleasure of singing next to her for a few years as part of the St. Joe Hill Guitar Group. Her voice was simply angelical. I know everyone up in heaven will thoroughly enjoy hearing it! Many blessings to her and the family.

My deepest love & prayers for Denise's family, it is hard losing a sister & even more difficult losing a child. Grief is a different language, hoping to hear words that will comfort yet somehow fall short. It is like the sky, it is everywhere you look. May you find comfort in soft things, pillows to absorb your tears, laps to rest your weary mind, arms to hold you up & shoulders to cry upon. All these I wish for you. She was beauty....

My deepest sympathy and prayers go out to your family. I was so very sorry to hear of Denise's passing. I remember her as an adorable little toddler who looked like Shirley Temple when we were all growing up as neighbors. Over the past two years, my family started going to Christmas Eve Mass at Mt. St. Francis, and there I saw Denise who was a very talented musician who, along with her group, added a special meaning to our Christmas these last two years. I hope that you can take comfort knowing she is with God and at peace.

We send our love and prayers to her family and loved ones. Denise and Randy taught me to play the dulcimer at their first Corydon Dulcimer Society gathering at Spring Mill Park in the early 2000s. She had such a beautiful voice and sweet nature. My husband and I still play in Jim Foxs class. Thanks to them many people play the dulcimer She will be missed and always remembered with love and appreciation. Bill & Sherron Fields

I was just talking to my sister about Denise the other day and we remember her for her warm smile. I never saw her without it. And we remember her love of music and when she played guitar at church. May God welcome her with the same warmth she showed to others.

Denise always had a smile on her face. I remember when we were kids you would say something to her and her reply was always "what". That's one of my memories of Denise. Love you and miss you. Grandma and Eli were waiting to greet you.

The day God called you home
God looked around his garden
And He found an empty place.
He then looked down upon this earth,
And saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you
And lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful
He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering
He knew you were in pain
He knew that you would never
Get well on earth again.
He saw that the road was getting rough.
And the hills are hard to climb,
So He closed your weary eyelids
And whispered "Peace be thine".
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you didn't go alone
For part of us went with you
That day that God called you home
Will miss your laughter and sweet smile Neesie. Peace be with you.
