I had not seen Diane nor Fuzzy for many years...but Diane and I had great times together when I would run through the forest from our home on Old Hill Road to her home in Altawaood. Sometimes we would watch her brother's band practice. The memories are great...but every time I get a notice to look at this site, and I see her beautiful face, I feel sad and so wish we could wave a magic wand for a few more moments together. As the previous gentlemen wrote, now they are in heaven together, blessed in each other's love.

Sad for two of the nicest people I have ever met, joined in heaven together

I am not connected to the friends or family of Mrs Zoeller -- I am a golf spectator -- I enjoy films of the pre-1990 era matches.

A stranger cannot understand fully the connection which any of us has with a friend or a loved one -- I saw Mrs Zoeller's photograph while looking for videos of golf matches. I can say that her image conveys strength of personality and depth of feeling of the very highest sort.

Omg I just found out iam so sorry prayers for her family

Fuzzy,

….. Catching up after a long, long time.

Today we are watching the Open and much of our conversation has been about you and Diane. I so regret not staying closer as we all grew up. Diane was a dear friend when we were kids and, like all of us, I was always so, so proud of your accomplishments as an individual, a father and a golf star. From the pix album, I see Diane as a wonderful mother, dedicated wife and lovely person whom I appreciated so much. It is edging up on a full year since you lost Diane and I can imagine that the year has been hard. Please accept our love and strength and great respect for the tough time you all endured. Saw Dianne many times in Fuzzy's gallery over the years. Easy to see how much Fuzzy loved her. Enjoyed Fuzzy and Gretchen playing our PNC Father-Son tournament in Orlando. Gretchen was the star of the show and won over many fans. When I played St. Andrews in 1985, the starter told me how kind Fuzzy was to some handicapped folks watching the 1984 British Open. I know I speak for all the Fuzzy fans out there in extending our sympathy to the family and you will be in our prayers.

Fuzzy, It breaks my heart to hear about the passing of your dear Diane. She was my partner in crime in the coke heist in Washington DC. Of course I was the only one to get into trouble. She was too sweet to be accused. You are in my prayers. Love you my friend. If you get near Tampa, Florida, look me up. We will show you a great time.

What a beautiful lady both inside and out...her smile was infectious! The Moyer Family has you all in our thoughts and prayers.

Fuzzy and Family,
Our deepest sympathy to you and family.
Love,
Rick and Janet Zoeller

Sorry to hear Diane passed away Fuzzy. My condolences and prayers for the Zoeller Family.

Diane and I spent much time together while living in Altawood, a safe haven for kids our age. All parents in that neighborhood were active in providing a wonderful environment for us. Diane was extra special to me. She was talented, good looking and generous. We truly enjoyed our time together. Although we have not kept in touch since I moved to Florida 37 years ago, I often think about her, Fuzzy and children. We are only a few weeks apart in age. She will be severely missed, but I will treasure all memories as I already have throughout those years. I am thankful that she is joined by her loving mother, Lorraine, to help guide and assist her in Heaven.

So very sorry for your loss. My wife and I walked along with Diane and Gretchen for several holes following Fuzzy at the tourney in Boca several years ago. They both could not have been warmer and more engaging to us "FUZZY FANS". It's a fond remembrance of a wonderful time enjoying Fuzzy's career.

Please find comfort in knowing she is with the Lord now!

Al and I send our thoughts and prayers to the Zoeller family.

My deepest condolences to the family. Many fond memories of riding our horses together...we (with Linda Bennett/Warman) would meet at Scottys and race up the road when they were making the big Hwy 150 cut. She rode true to form...beautiful and graceful. Always with so much quiet grace and class. May memories and the love of friends and family help you thru these days.

Fuzzy,,,I always loved and missed her. God Bless. Debi

Having known Fuzzy and Diane for more than 45 years we always knew they were a great team and Diane was the Captain. She was his best asset. Diane was thoughtful, gracious and a special friend.
Our deepest condolences to Fuzzy and his family.

Fuzzy,
It's been 44 years since we last saw and spoke to each other. I was 19 and coming in the pro shop at the former Elks Club. You were finishing a round during the Jeff Elks Open, and had a drink in one hand and your new bride, Diane in tow, gently I will add. You introduced Diane to dad(Ken Riker) and I, and for the first time in a while golf didn't really seem to matter.
Dad and I could tell this LADY made you happy. Fuzzy, I have been married almost 42 years and I can't imagine being without Cathy. But, in a while I'm sure you and your girls sadness will be lessened as you recall Diane's memories of your good life lived together. My heart goes out to you. I will keep you in my prayers.

I have many fond memories of visiting Diane when we were children and the wonderful family lunches when my sister and I were able to visit from New York. She will be sorely missed. My condolences to her family.

I met Diane in Louisville in 1972. She was a beautiful woman, always kind. We became friends and remained friends throughout the years. Diane is in Heaven with God.
I am so sorry for your loss!
Sending love, thoughts and prayers to you and your entire family.
Please accept my deepest condolences.

Our hearts are so very sad knowing we will miss Diane’s beautiful smile. Her compassion and gentle spirit will always be remembered. Our love and prayers are with you Fuzzy and Mr. Thornton and her loving family.

A few years, I walked the fairways with Diane and Gretchen at the Alliance in Boca Raton. It was a special four hour walk hearing stories about everything family and a few claps for a few Fuzzy birdies. She loved her family very very much. My deepest condolences.

Diane was so very beautiful inside and out. Her smile and laugh lit up any room and she was always so welcoming to my family and me. She was like another parent when I was growing up, and I will forever be grateful for her. I will never forget telling her I was expecting triplets - she smiled and laughed after the shock wore off, and kept saying, “Wow, that’s unbelievable!” Her face lit up every time she saw them. I will also think of Diane whenever Rodney Strong wine is served - I liked that she referred to it as “Strong Rodney.”

Diane, you will be missed by so many. You touched many lives, and I’m grateful to have had you in my life. You were always such a bright and inspiring light. Many prayers and lots of love to the Zoeller family.

So sorry to hear of Diane's passing. My condolences to all her family.

My deepest condolences to the Zoeller family. Diane was always a gracious lady to my grandparents, Stacey and Donald Banet. May your hearts be filled with loving memories of Diane and her smiles.

Sunnye, Heidi, Gretchen, Miles ,Fuzzy and families,
