Dolores McDarby Edwards, 74 years of age died Thursday, August 5, 2010 at her residence following an illness. She was born May 12, 1936 to the late Thomas and Angela Manley McDarby in Limerick, Ireland. She was a professional photographer with a career at the Chase Studios in New Albany where she was the owner and photographer. Dolores adored her family especially her two granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Donald Lynn Edwards and a son, Jeff.
Survivors include her son and his wife, Sean and Carol Edwards of New Albany; grandaughters Samantha and Alexandra Edwards; Brothers Thomas, Joseph, Vincent and Raymond McDarby of Limerick, Ireland; Sister Marie Kiley of Limerick, Ireland
Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until 5:00 pm Sunday, August 8, 2010 & after 10:00 am Monday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring St, New Albany. Her funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Monday, August 9, 2010 at the Kraft Funeral Chapel with burial in Fairview Cemetery in New Albany.
