Dolores M. Hollensead, 97, passed away peacefully on the morning of May 15, 2026, at Charlestown Place in New Albany, Indiana. Born on April 20, 1929, Dolores was the daughter of the late Christopher and Helen Griley.
Dolores is survived by her children, Paul (Sandra) Hollensead Jr., David (Judy) Hollensead, Sharon Gilliam, Linda Hollensead, and Daniel P. (Rachel) Hollensead; and Grandchildren, Karen Peterson (Jason), Lisa Hollensead (Brenda Morrell), Celeste Hollensead, John David Hollensead (Haleigh), Natalie Willoughby (Bailey), and Ava Vercier (Myron).
In addition to her parents, Dolores is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul C. Hollensead Sr.; daughter, Bonnie Driggers; and brother, Donald Griley.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 19, from 4:00–8:00 p.m. at Kraft Funeral Home, located at 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, IN 47150.
Additional visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 20, from 10:00 -11:00 a.m at St. Michael Catholic Church, located at 11400 Farmers Ln NE, Greenville, IN 47124.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at the church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
