Donald Arthur “Donnie” Bruce, 40 years of age passed away peacefully on July 1, 2021 at Especially Kidz Health and Rehab in Shelbyville, Indiana. He was born on March 27, 1981 in Bloomington, Indiana to the late James Bruce and Priscilla Bruce. Donnie enjoyed all of the activities at Especially Kidz including church, story time, videos, sitting in his favorite recliner, and having family visit. Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Delane Bruce; and grandparents, Donald and Betty Pfeiffer, Arthur and Lucille Bruce.
He is survived by his mother, Priscilla Bruce; brother, Philip Bruce (Amanda), sister, Cheryl Alcorta (Eddie); nieces and nephews, Mike Bruce (Bridget), Kara Lovett (Claire Lilly), Samuel Alcorta, Sierra Alcorta, Elias Alcorta; great nephew, Jeremiah Bruce; great niece, Ezra Ann Bruce; aunts, Sandra Pfeiffer and Laura Pfeiffer.
Visitation will be 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm Wednesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday at funeral home with entombment at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
