Donald R. Lehman, Sr., 71, passed away Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany. He was born January 6, 1942 in Dekalb, Illinois to the late Wilbur and Mildred Lehman. Don served in the United States Navy for 4 years on the USS Saratoga. He was the former owner of Bottle Stop Liquors for 25 years. He loved sponsoring the Bottle Stop Liquors Softball team with his best friend, Billy Haller. They traveled everywhere together. He also was an avid pro wrestling fan for over 50 years. Don was a friend to everyone he met. He had a heart of pure gold and was very much loved by all.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Hazel Skeeter Lehman; children, Wanda Lehman (Charlie), Traci Lehman (Billy), Donald Lehman, Jr. (Debbie); grandchildren, Doug Lehman (Shannon), Seirra Lehman; great grandson, Dominick Lehman; sister, Priscilla Thorn (John)
Visitation will be from 11:00 am ~ 8:00 pm Sunday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Monday in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with entombment at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana
