Donald R. "Don" Kerr

Donald R. “Don” Kerr, 83 years of age passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2016. He was born March 13, 1932 in New London, Connecticut to the late David and Lillian Kerr. Don was a Ranger and Staff Sergeant in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a longtime salesman and also worked as a merchandiser for the Crossmark Company. Don was a member of the American Legion and Moose Lodge and was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn Grantz Kerr and granddaughter, Leah Kerr. Survivors include his children, David Kerr(Rose), Jeffrey Kerr, Peggy Edrington(Mike); grandchildren, Amanda Schneider, Matthew Kerr, Amy Kerr, Whitney McCain, Brian Kerr, Mallory Burke, Zachary Kerr; great grandchildren, Hayden Prather, Aubrey Walker, Gemma Schneider, Xavier Kerr, Marcella Kerr, and Madilyn McCain. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Service will be 11:00 am Saturday at the funeral home chapel with entombment to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
