Donald J. Schroder

Donald J. Schroder, age 76, of Jeffersonville, Indiana passed away at his home on Friday, November 10, 2023. Donald was born on May 22, 1947, to the late John and Martha Schroder. He was one of four siblings. Donald later married the love of his life of 54 years, the late Beverly Schroder (Bedell), who passed away in November of 2022. Donald worked as a manager for Fazoli's restaurant for 20-plus years where he later retired.

In his past time, Donald loved playing card games such as Euchre and Poker, watching true crime shows on television, and loved visits from the two puppies. He was an avid IU fan and coached football in his earlier years. He and Beverly enjoyed traveling and going to the beach on vacations.

Along with his parents, Donald is preceded in death by two brothers, Dr. David Schroder and Stephen Schroder.

Donald is survived by a son, Daniel Schroder (Cynthia Anderson); two grandchildren, Sarah Schroder-Phillips (Alex), and Daniel "Joey" Schroder Jr. (Alanna Groves); brother, Gary Schroder (Gina); sister-in-law, Gloria Schroder; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at 1:00 PM at the New Beginnings Church, 2219 Spring Avenue, New Albany, Indiana.

Donald's final resting place will be by his loving wife Beverly in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
