Donnie J. “Dynomite” Owens, 73 years of age died Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana. He was born June 11, 1941 in Bowling Green, Kentucky to the late Carl and Hortense Owens. Donnie retired after 35 years with Jeffboat in Jeffersonville.
Survivors include his wife, Patty S. Owens; children, Sherry Ayers, Lori Williams, Amy Garrett, April Martino, Nicholas Owens; brothers, Bob Owens, Johnny Owens; sisters, Sue Morris, Janet Miller; 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren
Cremation was chosen. A reception of family and friends will be held from 10:30 am ~ 2:00 pm Monday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday at the funeral home chapel. His ashes will be buried at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
