Doris Ann (Hill) Hammett, 86, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana. The daughter of the late J. Earl and Etta Mae (Wehner) Hill, Doris was born April 2, 1935 in New Albany.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Hammett; children, Matt Hammett (Ellen) and Valerie Hammett (Chuck Michniak); grandchildren, Jackson Michniak, Jordan Nicholson, Austin Hammett, Kevin Hammett, and Kolton Hammett; and 2 great grandchildren.

A private Funeral Service will be held and she will be buried at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in New Albany.
