DOROTHY M. (WILLIAMS) BAILEY, 93, died Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at her home. The daughter of the late Thomas and Gladys (Floyd) Williams, Dot was born September 6, 1922 in New Albany. She was a member of Silver Street United Methodist Church in New Albany. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin “Peck” Bailey; and daughter and son-in-law, Marcia and Ken Rueff.
Survivors include her granddaughters, Amy Jo Davenport (John) and Sarah B. Henderson (Johnny); and great grandchildren, Morgan and Meagan Davenport and Emma, Ellie and Owen Henderson.
The family would like to extend sincere appreciation to David, Darleen, Millie and all the neighbors and caregivers who enriched Dot’s life.
Visitation will be 3:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Thursday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany. Her Funeral Service will be 11:00 am Friday in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with entombment in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany.
