Dorothy was a longtime resident of New Albany, Indiana, and worked for Belknap Hardware and Manufacturing Company.
In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John C. Bowman; her sisters, Helen Rissler and Alice Rissler Melton; and her brother, James Rissler.
Survivors include her; daughter, Linda Robison (David); grandsons, Robert Cobb (Jenny) and Joshua Cobb (Ashlee); several great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 8:00 PM on Friday, July 17, 2026, and 9:30 am until Noon on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana.
Funeral Service will be conducted at Noon on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at the funeral home with private burial to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany.
