Dorothy Ellen Wright, 93 years of age died Friday, December 25, 2015 at Westminster Village Nursing Home in Clarksville. She was born February 3, 1922 in Harrison County, Indiana to the late Wilford and Rosa Dannacher Rissler. Dorothy was an avid quilter and loved Indiana University Athletics. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Sidney Wright; brothers, Everett Rissler, Dewey Rissler, Orlan Rissler, Charles Bube, John Bube; and sister, Lula Spalding.
Survivors include her daughters, Donna Wilson(James), Paula Charles; grandsons, Michael McGuire(Kristie), Brent Charles(Amber), Adam Charles(Andrea); great grandchildren, Kade McGuire, Jian McGuire, Sydney Charles, and Avery Charles.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday and 9:00 am to 11:00 am Wednesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be 11:00 am Wednesday at the funeral home chapel with entombment at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
