Earl William Finn

Earl William Finn, 89 years of age died Friday March 22nd, 2019. Earl was born May 6, 1929 in Freedom, PA to the late David Ewing and Donna Esther (Whitlock) Finn. He was a graduate of the University of Kentucky and was a heavy construction contractor for over some 20 years until retirement. Earl was an Army Veteran and a member of Old Capital VFW Post #2950 in Corydon and Bonnie Sloan Post American Legion in New Albany. He was preceded in death by his parents, and five siblings; John, Gerald, Jim, Geneva Finn and Carol Hurst.

Survivors include his daughter, Sandra Saltz (Terry); former wife, Lois (Rhodes) Finn; two grandchildren, Shannon Saltz (Brittany), Rochelle Golden (Larry); two great grandchildren, Dalton and Skylar Golden; siblings, Dennis P. Finn (Bryann), Patricia Hunter, Margie Johnson; along with many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 3:00pm until 8:00 pm Wednesday March 27, 2019 and after 10:00 am Thursday March 28, 2019 at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Service will be held 1:00 pm Thursday March 28, 2019 in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with Military Honors. Burial will be held at 1:00 pm Monday April 1, 2019 in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, 2501 North Dixie Blvd., Radcliff, Kentucky.
