Edward Lee Cannon, age 69, of Palmyra, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2023. Ed was born in New Albany, Indiana on May 11, 1953 to the late Captain Lee and Ila Mae Cannon. He was a former employee for American Commercial Barge Lines.
Ed is survived by his son, David Cannon (Donna) of Salem; daughter, Tonya Thacker Bowles of Georgia; brother, Rick Yarborough of Jeffersonville; sister Sondra Comfort of New Albany; grandson, Gavin Brown; and his prize possession, dog Tinker.
Cremation was chosen and services will be private. Ed will be laid to rest at a later date in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana.
