Elizabeth "Bette" M. Collingwood, age 89, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2024. Bette was born in Covington, Kentucky on May 30th, 1935 to the late Edwin Dimler and Dorthea (Nash) Dimler. She was a member of the Worldwide Church of God, Living Church of God, and the Church of God Worldwide Association. She found joy in cooking, square dancing, and attending church events.
Bette is preceded in death by her loving husband, Joseph Collingwood; her brother, Edwin R. Dimler; her sisters, Florence Wilcher and Mary Jane Dimler.
Bette is survived by her children, Diana (Larry) Butts, Tim (Patty) Collingwood, David (Stacy) Collingwood, Ted (Teresa) Collingwood; sister, Grace Loyd; her six grandchildren; her ten great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana on Wednesday, September 4th, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Thursday, September 5th, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 PM (Noon) on September 5th, 2024 at Kraft Funeral Service with a private burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
