Elizabeth Frances Skaggs

Elizabeth Frances Skaggs, 76, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Hillcrest Village. Elizabeth was born June 27, 1945 in Leitchfield, Kentucky to the late Edgar and Florence Higdon. She was of the Baptist faith and was retired from several local business'. She loved unicorns, sewing, gardening and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a brother, Jesse Higdon. Frances is survived by her husband, Lennie Skaggs; children, Marsha Reinhardt, Robert Nix Jr. and Sherry Gaddie; step children, Susan Lynne Mack and William Troy Skaggs; grandchildren, Kevin (Courtney) Crawford, Jackie (Daniel) Gaddie, Mariah Nix, Benjamin Palmer, Brittany Palmer and Edward Mack; eight great grandchildren with the ninth on the way; grand dog, Oscar; one sister, Mildred; one brother, Clarence; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation for Frances will be held Tuesday, March 29, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, Indiana 47150. Funeral service will be Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at 10:00 AM, 2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, Indiana 47150 with private burial in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.
