Ella Mae Chadwell, 92 years of age passed April 15, 2017 at Kindred Transitional Care Wedgewood in Clarksville, Indiana. She was born October 15, 1924 in Union City, Kentucky to the late William and Elizabeth (Dozier) Eades. Ella was a retired bank teller from the old NBD Bank and was a member of Morton Memorial United Methodist Church. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Vernon Eades, Thomas Perry Eades, William Burgin Eades, Calvin Dozier Eades, Wesley Eades; five sisters, Martha Eades, Frankie Weddle, Nancy Deatherage, Alma Lanter, and Ann Abshear.
Survivors include her daughters, Ann Hendrix (Bryan), Carla Napier (Gary), Pat McGraw (Jim); grandchildren, Paul, Ashley, Scott; great grandchildren, Violet, Luke, Nolan.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be 10:00 am Thursday at the funeral home chapel with private burial at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
