Ellen Mary Clifford, 73, died at Nazareth Home, Louisville, KY on January 27, 2015 after a 5 yr. illness .She was born March 6, 1941 in Ashville, North Carolina to Edward M. Clifford and Verne Rose ( DeLong ) Clifford. She attended High school in Upper Arlington, OH and received a Bachelor Degree from Ohio State University. She experienced a variety of career opportunities in OH, IL, and KY. At the time of her illness, she was working for the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, Nazareth, KY in the Archives Dept. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Timothy Clifford, sisters Ann Weiland, and Jane Klenotic. She is survived by her sisters Bridgid Clifford, S.C.N. and Mary Karalexis and her husband George, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Monday February 2, 2015 in the Chapel at Nazareth Home, 2000 Newburg Rd., Louisville, KY beginning with a visitation at 9:30 am, followed by a Mass at 11:00 am. Internment will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, New Albany, Indiana.
