Emma C. Thwing, 77 years of age died Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at Lincoln Hills Healthcare Center in New Albany, Indiana. She was born January 10, 1934 in Big Spring, Texas to the late John and Frankie Tucker. Emma was a member of Silver Street United Methodist Church in New Albany and Epsilon Sigma Alpha International.
Survivors include her husband, David A. Thwing; children, Richard A. Thwing of Georgetown, Indiana, Ricky W. Thwing of Athens, Maine, Cindy Thwing of Norridgewock, Maine, Reba Williams of Wichita Falls, Texas, Robyn Flowers of Wichita Falls, Texas; 7 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandson.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Friday, December 30, 2011 at Silver Street United Methodist Church. Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana is in charge of arrangements.
