Ethel Jane Cobb, age 84, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at Baptist Floyd Hospital in New Albany, Indiana. She was born on December 31, 1937 in Cotton Plant, Arkansas, the daughter of the late George and Lois (Weaver) Raneau. Jane was married to the love of her life for 41 years, Sonny Cobb. She retired as a Payroll Administrator from Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, Indiana. In her past time she enjoyed crocheting and most of all fishing with husband, Sonny at the lake.
Along with her husband Sonny, she is survived by her children; son, Larry Leach, daughter, Darrenda Stepro; stepsons, Chris Cobb, Jeff (Brenda) Cobb and Harold (Krissy) Cobb; three grandchildren, Craig Stepro, Paul (Crystal) Stepro, and Daniel Leach; three great grandchildren, Christopher Stepro, Daelynn Wever and Rylee Wever; brother, Hayes Raneau; sister, Barbara (Ron) Smith; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three brothers, Gene Raneau, Bill Raneau and Norman Raneau; along with a grandson, Michael Stepro.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 10, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. A Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 pm following visitation.
