Eugenia L. (Zavitson) McKinley, age 94, of Clarksville, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023. Eugenia was born August 7, 1928 in Jeffersonville, Indiana to the late George Andrew and Cleopatra (Hay) Zavitson. She was a retired employee of Dillard's Department Store and was a 70 year member of First Southern Baptist Church in Clarksville. She volunteered at the church library, Sunday School, VistaCare Hospice, and the Jeffersonville Food Pantry. Along with her parents, Eugenia was preceded in death by her husband, Norman C. McKinley; son, George Michael Willis and sisters, Georgia Burton and Mary Joan Revels.
She is survived by her sons, Allen Willis (Gail), Norman Wayne McKinley; brother, Chris Zavitson; 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
A visitation for Eugenia will be held Sunday, January 22, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, Indiana 47150, followed by a funeral service at 4:00 PM. Eugenia will be laid to rest in Walnut Ridge Cemetery, 2421 Hamburg Pike, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130.
