Evelyn L. Garland, 71 years of age died Monday, October 31, 2011 at Northfield Nursing Home in Louisville, KY. Evelyn was a native of New Albany and a longtime resident of Greenville, IN. She was a retired teacher and preceded in death by her husband Ronald Wayne Garland.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Wednesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be held 11:00 am Thursday in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with burial to follow in the Birdseye Cemetery in Birdseye, IN.
