Frances Elizabeth White Hollis

Frances was born October 13, 1927 in Manchester, England, to the late James and Margaret Martin White. In 1946 she married Dr. Harvey Hollis, a handsome American G.I. from Indiana. After moving to the United States, she raised five children with her husband Harvey and was a loving and generous mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Perpetual Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her dear husband of some 59 years, Dr. Harvey Hollis; and a daughter, Kristina Pearl.

Survivors include children, Barbara A. Hollis, Dr. Kevin Hollis (Susan), Dr. James Hollis (Linda) and Dr. Brenda Hollis (James Harper); eight grandchildren, Erin Morris (Chris), Dr. Jacob Hollis (Dr. Belinda Henry), Sarah Hollis (Damian Petrescu), Catie Hollis, Justin Hollis and Payton, Colette and Geneva Harper; six great-grandchildren, Hollis and Harvey Morris, Madeleine and Frances Hollis and Theodore and Augustus Petrescu; and sister, Brenda Oakes (Geoff), of Bedfordshire, England.

Visitation will be 2- 8 p.m. Wednesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany. Private service will be held at the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with private burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
