Gavin Tyler Scott

Gavin Tyler Scott, age 19, of Greenville, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024. He was born April 30, 2004 the son of Brad Scott and Michelle Smith. Gavin was a graduate Floyd Central High School and enjoyed Technical Theater and all genres of Music. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Larry Nevins, Jr. Gavin is survived by his mother, Michelle Fowler Smith (Brandon) father, Brad Scott (Brandi), brothers, Ethan and Rip Scott, grandparents, Ronnie and Nora Scott, Rita Robinson (Jerry), Earl Fowler, Perry Smith, and Kim Nevins, girlfriend, Michaela Campbell, Aunts and Uncles, Todd Scott (Bo), Katie Uhl (Jon), Shelby Nevins, Harold Carver (Jennifer), Angela Royal (Hunter), and Tiffany Pierce (Ron), cousins, Ashley Hawthorne, Olivia King, Hunter Royal, Brayden Ballard, Marrana Moore, Emily Carver, Jack Carver, Brady Pierce, Ashton Uhl, Ashley Scott, Brynlee Uhl, Cruz Uhl and Cason Uhl. A visitation for Gavin will be held Wednesday, January 17, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM and after 10:00 AM Thursday, January 18, 2024 at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 East Spring St., New Albany, Indiana. A celebration of life will occur Thursday, January 18, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Kraft Funeral Chapel, 708 East Spring St., New Albany, Indiana. Gavin will be laid to rest in Chapel Hill Cemetery, Navilleton, IN. Donation envelopes for Serenity House (a men’s sober living facility in Jeffersonville) will be available at the funeral home for a gift to be given in Gavin’s name for those who feel compelled to contribute.
