Genevieve Marie "Pie" Bezy Renn

Genevieve Marie “Pie” Bezy Renn, 101, died Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Beehive Assisted Living in Georgetown, Indiana. She was born December 16, 1913 to the late Julius L. and Julia James Bezy. She is also preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Rose Renn Marking and brother, Victor Leo Bezy. She was a member of St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church and enjoyed life to the fullest.

Survivors include:

Son-in-law: Anthony “Tony” Marking

Grandchildren: Cheryl Marking and her husband, Mark Carroll

Paula Marking and her significant other, Patrick Griffin

Tony “Joe” Marking

Bridgett Zakrzewski and her husband, Tony

Cindy Short and her husband, Steve

8 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and many nieces and extended family members

Son: Clifford Renn and his wife, Rachel and their family

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday and after 8:00 am Saturday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring St., New Albany, Indiana. Her funeral service will be held 10:00 am Saturday at St. Mary of the Knobs Chapel, 5719 St. Mary’s Rd., Floyds Knobs, Indiana with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
