George Leo Ganey, 84, of Clarksville, Indiana passed away on Monday, October 10, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family. George was born in Crestview, Florida on September 11, 1938 to the late Jessie and Anna Belle Ganey. He was a retired billing clerk from Summitt Trucking Company. He was an avid fisherman at Barren River Lake in Glasgow, Kentucky.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, George Leon Ganey; a grandson, Matthew Edwards Ganey; and siblings, Atterene, Lydia, Suzie, Claudia, Jean, Charlie, Billy, Danny, Mary and Jimmy.
George is survived by his wife of 58 years, Lorene Ganey; two sons, Robert (Monic) Ganey and Roger (Tammy Meredith) Ganey; grandchildren, Michael Ganey, Zachary Ganey, Amanda Ganey and Whitney Ganey; four siblings, Betty, Earl, Linda and Sue; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family wishes to celebrate his life privately. Inurnment will be in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park.
