George T. Rorrer, 64, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2022. The son of the late George T. Rorrer II and Betty Tipton Rorrer, George was born February 28, 1958 in Huntington, West Virginia. George was a graduate of Jeffersonville High School, Indiana University Southeast, and The University of Louisville School of Law. He was active in the Clarksville Little League, a referee for many years, and an umpire for many local schools and college softball teams. He was an avid sports fan of the Cincinnati Reds, University of Louisville, Cincinnati Bengals, Indiana University, and Marshall University.
George is survived by his wife of 45 years, Debbie Paris Rorrer; children, Brittany Krow (Chris), Scott Rorrer (Nickie), Allison Rorrer, and Kelsey Rorrer; grandchildren, Preston, Parker, Emerson, Cooper, and Landon; siblings, Vanessa Iredale (Andy), Randy Rorrer (Sharon), Jeff Rorrer (Julie), and Valerie Lavigne (David); several nieces and nephews and extended family members.
Visitation will be 3 pm ~ 7 pm Thursday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Service will be 7 pm Thursday in the Kraft Spring Street Chapel.
