Goldie Marie Morgenroth

GOLDIE MARIE MORGENROTH, 89, died Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at Providence Diversicare Center in New Albany. Marie was born March 20, 1924 in Eckerty, Indiana to the late John Phillip and Amy (Young) Deich. She was a past member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and the Madonna Circle in New Albany and associate member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Elizabeth, Indiana. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Morgenroth; grandson, Matthew Crask; sister, Juanita Brown; and brother, Phillip Deich. The family would like to thank the staff of Providence Diversicare Center and Drs. Beasley, Saleem and Gondi for the special care and support shown to their mother.

Survivors include her daughters, Teresa Crask (Buddy), Marlene Ottersbach (John) and Rosemarie Ayers (Rich); grandchildren, Michael Crask, Michelle Kamber, Chrisie McLarnan, Jay Ottersbach, Kim Winters, Daniel Ottersbach, Devin Pendleton and Audrey Campbell; and great grandchildren, Tori, Zach, Nick, Amanda, Hayden, Hayley, Luke, Tyler, Zak, Skyler, Vivian, Macey, Brady, Carson and Eleanor.

Visitation will be 2:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm Friday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be 10:00 am Saturday in the Kraft Spring Street Chapel with burial to follow in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, New Albany.
