Greg you are such a kind and tender soul. You had to be or else you would've killed us kids a long time ago. Thank's for putting up with all our shenanigans from the corner of Kenwood and Loomis during our elementary school days, to N. Clark Blvd. during our most epic days of adolescence. Thank you for seeing us off to become the men we are today. My heart is full of gladness and pride, and it rejoices to know that you were able to be such an important part of your two beautiful granddaughter's lives. I know for sure that you left an imprint on them just the same as you did for Chad, Derek, and all of those who had the pleasure and honor to call you "dad". Thank you for being a role model for me and being there when I most certainly deserved a kick in the pants- it was all Chad's fault by the way, he always talked me into it. You will truly be missed and never forgot. I Love you Kahl family and friends.

Thanks dad for surprising me with the black firebird in the garage on my 16th birthday..., coolest car ever.

And for picking me up every time I ran out of gas....

Chad and Derrick,
I am grateful for the opportunity to have met your father. As someone who has lost their father way too early, I know there are no words that will bring you peace and there is no amount of time that will heal this wound. If there is anything I can do, please do not hesitate to reach out.
