H. Nelson Kost, 79 years of age died Tuesday December 1, 2015. Nelson was born November 4, 1936 in DePauw Indiana to the late William H. and Lena Helen (Jackson) Kost. He was a car hauler with Allied Systems until retiring in 1993. Nelson was a member of Boaz Masonic Home Lodge #850 F&AM and a proud Shriner. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Joyce Mock. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Mary Ann (Engleman) Kost; daughters, Deborah Hall, Karen Park(Lloyd), Linda Morris(Michael), and Laura Cupp and fiance’ Carl Pendleton; son, William “Dean” Kost (Tammy); grandchildren, Amber and Ashley Porter, Amanda Morris and Matthew Cupp; brother, Jimmy Kost; sister, Joann Schafer.
Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday and after 10:00 am Saturday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 pm Saturday at the Kraft Charlestown Rd. Chapel with entombment in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. A Masonic Service will be held at 7:00 pm Friday at the funeral home
