Harold Lee Smith, 90 years of age died Saturday, June 3, 2017 at his home. He was born December 25, 1926 in Floyds Knobs, Indiana to the late Anthony and Augusta Smith. Harold was a veteran of the United States Army, retired from Colgate-Palmolive after over 30 years, and was a member of St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church and VFW Post #1693 in New Albany. He was preceded in death by his brother, Clifford Smith, and sisters, Evelyn Leidolf, Thelma Smith.
Survivors include his daughter, Toni Warman (Richard); grandson, Eric Warman (Courtney); great grandsons, Quentin Warman and Ian Warman; niece, Mary Ann Leidolf Lanhum.
Visitation will be 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. His funeral Mass will be 10:00 am Tuesday at St. Mary of the Knobs Chapel with burial to follow at St. Mary of the Knobs Cemetery.
