Harry James McAllister

Harry James McAllister, age 66, of Austin, Indiana passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023. Harry was born in New Albany, Indiana on March 14, 1957 to the late James O. McAllister and Mary Francis McAllister. He was a truck driver with over 30 years with Best Way and All Star. He was a veteran in the United States Army.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Forest McAllister and Larry McAllister.

Harry is survived by his wife, Bonnie Taylor McAllister; a daughter, Jamie Riley; four sons, Chad Hardin (Marie), Jeremiah Hardin (Sharlene), Charles Hardin (Chrissy) and Bradley Hardin (Lynn); grandchildren, Eli, Isaac, Alexis, John, Andrue, Dylan, Dwayne, Eastyn, Jordan, Patrick, Madison and Taylor Chyan; great grandchildren, Landen, Myla, Arayla, Malik, Jamison, Jaxton, Journee, Paisley and Kinsley Jo; numerous nieces and nephews and a special cousin, Rita Cash.

Visitation for Harry will be held Monday, November 20, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, Indiana 47150.

Burial will be Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at 2:30 PM at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, 2501 North Dixie Highway, Radcliff, Kentucky 40160.
