

Howard was a proud U.S. Navy combat veteran and proudly served in the Vietnam War Era. He retired from the Naval Ordinance in Louisville, Kentucky after many years of service. Howard lived to ride his motorcycles and to watch wrestling five nights a week with his wife Pammy and his beloved dog, Macy.
Howard is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Fred and Ralph; and his sisters, Maxine and Mary Florence.
Howard is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Pamela "Pammy" (Schuler) Dye; a loving daughter, Tanya Marie Partipilo; son-in-law, Bryan Partipilo; his loving granddaughters, Samantha "Sam" Dye, Melissa "Missy" Cope, and Hailey Partipilo; a grandson, Eli Partipilo; great granddaughter, Sekora Marie Weeks; sister, Ruth Rex; brother, Robert "Bob" (Lois) Dye; in-laws, Ricky and Gail Schuler, and Sheila and Bill Cooper; and many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
A visitation will be held at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 East Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana on Monday, February 17, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 18th, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be at Kraft Funeral Service on Tuesday at 11:00 AM. A burial will follow his funeral service at Wolfe Cemetery in Georgetown, Indiana.
