J. Lillian Richards

J. Lillian Richards, 91 years of age passed away Tuesday August 9, 2016. Lillian was an active longtime resident of Clarksville, Indiana. She was born January 28, 1925 in Hart County, Kentucky to the late Della and Clemence (Gibson) Waldeck. Lillian was formerly employed at General Electric, later she worked as a real estate agent and broker in southern Indiana for many years. She was a longtime active member of Park Place United Methodist Church in Jeffersonville, Indiana and a 50 year member of the Apet Shrine and Eastern Star. Lillian will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by her family and all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Herschel Lamar Moody; son, Stephen Moody; husband of 48 years, Edsel Richards.

Survivors include her two sons, Donald Moody, Michael Moody and wife Madonna; two grandchildren, Spencer and Phillip Moody; four step-children, Susan, Sharon, Kevin, and Amy.

Visitation will be held 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday August 12, 2016 and 8:00 am to 10:00 am Saturday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am Saturday August 13, 2016 at the funeral home chapel with a reception to follow. Entombment will be in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
