

JAMES "CHRIS" MILLER, 57 years of age, died Thursday, February 24, 2011 at his home. The son of Mabel Corrine (Burger) and the late Robert Francis Miller, Chris was born October 4, 1953 in New Albany. He worked for the Greater Clark County School System and was a member of the American Legion Post #42 in Floyds Knobs. Also known as “The Yard Sale King”, Chris would spend every day selling, trading and going to yard sales and flea markets. “Wheeling and Dealing Chris” will be greatly missed by his many friends and family.
Survivors include his fiance, Anita Denton of Clarksville IN; daughters, Johnna Reynolds (Jeff), Jamie Payne (Kyle) and Jessica Miller, all of New Albany IN; mother, Mabel Corrine Miller of Clarksville IN; brothers, Bobby Miller (Teresa), Thomas Miller (Betty) and Wayne Miller (Sandy), all of New Albany IN; sister, Jenny Spencer (Charlie) of New Albany IN; grandchildren, Tori and Gavin Reynolds, Haley and Kobe Payne and Logan Miller; great grandchild, Makenna; fiance’s sons, Brian Reid and Brent Reid, both of Clarksville IN; and special friends, Butch and Leatha Reid.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am ~ 8:00 pm Monday, February 28, 2011 and after 10:00 am Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany. His Funeral Service will be 2:00 am Tuesday at the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with burial to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany.
