JAMES WILLIAM MILLER, 45, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2015. The son of Nancy Carol Firkins Jones and the late Paul A. Miller, Sr., Jimmy was born September 4, 1969 in New Albany. He was a supervisor and former mechanic at Apex Truck and Trailer Service in Jeffersonville, IN. Jimmy had a love for cars and car shows, was an avid bowler, and could often be found skating at his second home, Jammers Skating Rink in Clarksville. He touched many lives with his great sense of humor and willingness to help people whether he knew them or not.
Survivors include his daughters, Chelsea Miller (Fiance Chuck Brown) and Courtney Miller; mother & step-father, Nancy Carol Jones and Ronnie Mifflin; fiance, Samantha Singleton; sisters, Melissa Hollman, Tina Thomas, and Patricia Voignier; brothers, Paul Miller, Jr. and Tracy Miller; and granddaughter, Cherish Brown.
Visitation will be 10:00 am ~ 8:00 pm Wednesday and after 10:00 am Thursday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Thursday in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with burial to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany.
