James Allen Sutton

James Allen Sutton, 87, died Thursday, July 4th, 2013. He was born December 26th, 1925 in Louisville to the late Edgar Allen and Laura (Stevenson) Sutton. Jim was a retired truck driver after 30 years of service with Conway Consolidated Freight and 15 years with Manheim Transport Companies. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, a member of Teamsters Local #89, and 32nd degree Mason with Buckner Lodge #631 F. & A.M. in Sellersburg. Jim was preceded in death by his first wife Nona Marie Sutton in 1983. He will be fondly remembered by all of his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Annetta Rocky Sutton, children, Richard Sutton and wife Linda, Cindy Fuson, Pam Trent; sister, Geneva Calahan, grandchildren, Jim Sutton, Terry Dean, Tammy Wise, Carrie Mack, Sherrie Bowman, Angie Chapman, Billy Trent Jr., Lanona Trent; 12 Great Grandchilren and 6 Great Great Grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until 6:00 pm Sunday and from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm Monday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Service will be 12:00 pm Monday in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with burial to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana. Masonic Service 6:00 pm Sunday at Kraft.
