I read about the passing of Jay in the On-line. We're sorry to see he left us at so young of age. We worked together at LAP as Upgraders in chassis in the late 80's. We always enjoyed the Friday night dinner runs he made to Mike Linnings for everyone. Extremely glad to see he meet Jewell, married and had someone to share life with. So lone Jay. My heart goes out to Edith,Nina,Charlotte,& Terry. Losing a brother is very hard to go through. I was fortunate to meet Jay & Jewel after several years of not seeing him. He was so nice to me and that means alot to me. Thank you Nina for taking me over to his house. I know he will be missed dearly by his wife(Jewell) and family as I was told what a good person he was. I am a former teacher and coach at Clarksville High School. I had the privilege of coaching Jay in Cross Country and Track. I have nothing but fond memories of Jay and our time together. He was a hard worker, a talented athlete and a great guy. My sincere sympathy to all his family and friends.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Uncle Jay. As the youngest of the Hoover children, he was more of an older brother or cousin than uncle to many of us. I will always remember his ready laugh and smile. So easy going and fun to be around.

Jewell, I pray God gives you and your family peace and comfort in the days ahead.
