Jennifer Lynn Dosch

JENNIFER LYNN DOSCH, 51, of New Albany, came to the end of a journey Tuesday, March 19, 2013 after battling cancer. She spent more than 30 years working with developmentally disabled and challenged individuals as a creative, caring teacher at the Rauch Center. She had a positive attitude, kind demeanor, was thoughtful and caring and continuously looked for ways to excel for the benefit of the individuals and families she served. She was acknowledged with many awards in her profession, including the prestigious Keystone Award, and touched the lives of countless individuals, from peers to members of the public. She followed her dream and had a deep sense of purpose about her work. The reward for this was an almost inexhaustible supply of energy that she used to reach her goals. She was an artist, teacher and compassionate person. She enjoyed interior design and was passionate about gardening. She was a loving and devoted daughter, wonderful sister, aunt and trusted friend. Survivors include her parents, Joseph and Janet Dosch; sisters, Melissa Duncan and her husband, Gregory, and Kimberly Mayfield; brother, Chris Dosch and his wife, Julie; and numerous nieces and nephews. Reception of family and friends will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday, March 22nd, and after 11:00 am Saturday, March 23rd, at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany. Her Funeral Service will be celebrated at 1:00 pm Saturday in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with private entombment in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany.
