Jimmy Lewis Bagshaw

Jimmy was a preacher of the word of God and encouraged everyone he met to believe.

Jimmy married Belva “Belle” Walden Bagshaw on May 21, 1982. Belle preceded him in death, along with his beloved granddaughter, Emilie Welsh; parents, Jack and Verna Mullins; and Grandmother, Lucy Carmickle.

Jimmy is survived by his children, Kelly Welsh and Jimmy L. Bagshaw II, his grandchildren, Sarah Wellemeyer (Todd Wellemeyer) and Ian Welsh; Great-Grandchildren, Leon Wellemeyer, Theodore Wellemeyer, Viktor Wellemeyer, and Lennon Perkins-Welsh; Siblings, Jack Mullins, Rosanna Castro, Sharon Clemons, Tonda Dunn, Patty King, and Teresa Medley; as well as a host of extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory.

A Committal Service will be held on Monday, June 15, at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Memories Mausoleum, located within Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park (2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, IN 47150).

Following the service, family and friends are invited to gather for a Celebration of Life at Hunting Creek Country Club (6807 Foxcroft Road, Prospect, KY) from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

All are welcome as we gather to honor, remember, and celebrate a life well lived.
