Jo Ann Carberry, age 84, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Friday, August 4, 2023. She was born July 25, 1939 in Georgetown, IN to the late Mark and Ruth Jefferson. Jo Ann was a longtime member of Holy Family Catholic Church in New Albany and was a ceramics teacher for many years. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings, Joyce McCowan, Mark Jefferson, and William Jefferson.
She is survived by her husband Hugh Carberry and her brother Paul Jeffferson (Patty) as well as several nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Jo Ann will be held Thursday, August 10, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd., New Albany, IN. Following the visitation will be a funeral mass at 12:00 PM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 129 W. Daisy Ln., New Albany, IN.
Jo Ann will be laid to rest in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany, IN.
